How This Happened
This short series of blogs traces the development of my creative practice — from early experimentation with camera movement and breath when I was seriously ill and unable to hold the camera properly or depress the shutter button, through recovery and exploration, to an integrated approach connecting body, camera, and the natural world. I’m a former healthcare professional, animal behaviourist and anthropologist specialising in human, animal and environmental interactions — and, of course, a photographer.
